 Criminal entomology is accommodating in crime investigations as well.  The insects (usually blowflies) help determine the time of death and may become evidence while further assisting in the investigation.  Entomology is also effective in resolving whether there were drugs involved. Furthermore, they can determine if a body has been moved by determining if the insects found on the body originated from outdoors, indoors, in cooler climate, in warmer climate, and by the region they are from.
